- For all bookings which are made during the Promotion Period and subject to these Early Bird Terms, you may amend your booking and transfer your deposit to another Expedition which is offered by Quark (subject to availability) without paying or incurring any additional fees (subject to clause 13 below) so long as this is done within 90 days of the date your original booking was confirmed by Quark; Any amendments which are made or requested after this time shall be subject to the terms, including fees, as set out in the Booking Conditions.
- Note that this Promotion is limited to amendments only (other than name changes which shall be subject to the provisions of clause 15 below) and shall not entitle you to cancel your booking; Any cancellation shall be subject to the terms as set out in the Booking Conditions.
- In order to amend your booking you should follow the process for making amendments as set out in the Booking Conditions; You must notify Quark of the new booking which you wish to amend your existing booking to at the same time that you notify Quark of your intention to amend your booking.
- If your booking is amended to an expedition which is not part of Quark’s Antarctic 2026/2027 season (and therefore not deemed to be an Expedition for the purpose of these Early Bird Terms) then you shall lose your eligibility to benefit from the offers set out under these Early Bird Terms (i.e. B. Early Bird Special Flexibility Offer, C. Adventure Option Credit, D. Priority Pass Membership, E. Global Experiences Credit) and such rights shall automatically be forfeited; If your booking is amended to another expedition in Quark’s Antarctic 2026/2027 season (and therefore deemed to be an Expedition for the purpose of these Early Bird Terms) then you shall retain the benefit all rights set out in these Early Bird Terms.
- If the value of your new booking is greater than your existing booking then you will be responsible for all additional payments which become payable in respect of that booking; If the deposit amount that you have paid as at the amendment date is less than the required 25% amount (as per the Booking Conditions) of your new booking then you shall be responsible to pay such additional amount as is necessary to ensure that 25% of the total value of the new booking has been paid.
- If the value of your new booking is less than your existing booking then no refund of any amounts paid shall be provided; Quark shall credit such additional amounts which you have paid against the total balance of your new booking to decrease the overall balance which is payable by you in respect of that new booking. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for all bookings which are made during the Promotion Period, you may exercise a change of name in respect of the booking; Such right may be exercised once only and in respect of name changes only and provided it is done 120 days prior to departure; In order to benefit from such right, at the time of such request you must notify Quark of all of the appropriate details of the change at the time including (without limitation) the new name, date of birth, address and any other information requested by Quark; It is a condition of any transfer that the person to whom you are changing the name on the booking to signs and agrees to be bound by the Booking Conditions.
- Adventure Option Credit:
- For all bookings which are made under this Promotion, each person that is named on the booking confirmation shall be provided with a credit of USD $250 (“Adventure Option Credit”) which can be applied to the price of adding any Adventure Option to the booking; Any additional amounts in respect of any Adventure Option(s) booked by you which are over and above the Adventure Option Credit shall be payable by you; No participation in any Adventure Option shall be permitted unless and until all sums in respect of that Adventure Option have been received in full (including after the application of the Adventure Option Credit).
- The Adventure Option Credit can only be utilized at the time that your booking is made and cannot be added to your booking at a later date or used retrospectively.
- In the event that you book an Adventure Option which is less than the value of the Adventure Option Credit, or you do not use your Adventure Option Credit in accordance with these Early Bird Terms, then no refund or other compensation will be payable to you and you shall forfeit the entirety or balance of the Adventure Option Credit (as applicable).
- Priority Pass Membership:
- For all bookings which are made under this Promotion, Quark shall provide one (1) 12-month membership to Priority Pass and two (2) complimentary airport lounge visits for each person named on the booking confirmation.
- The Priority Pass terms and conditions available at https://www.prioritypass.com/conditions-of-use shall apply in respect of Quark’s provision of, and your use of, the Priority Pass membership provided under these Early Bird Terms.
- Global Experiences Credit:
- For all bookings which are made under this Promotion, Quark shall provide each passenger named on the booking an e-code for the total sum of USD $100.00 (“Global Experience Credit”) to be used with Global Hotel Card, Inc. (“Global Experiences”) which can be redeemed at www.globalexperiencescard.com (“Global Experience Website”).
- The Global Experience Credit can be applied to any eligible experience which is available on the Global Experience Website.
- The Global Experience Credit shall be emailed to the lead name on the booking approximately 30 days before the departure date of your booking; It is the responsibility of the lead booker to ensure that all Global Experience Credits are distributed to all passengers named on the booking; Quark shall accept no liability to any passengers who are not provided with the Global Experience Credit once this is provided to the lead booker and it shall be the responsibility of the lead booker to ensure that the Global Experience Credit is provided to all passengers on the booking.

All fares are per person, based on double occupancy (unless otherwise noted) and quoted in US dollars (US$). Rates for expeditions, flights, as well as optional pre-expedition and post-expedition extensions are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing and are subject to change prior to departure. Substantial changes in tariffs, exchange rates and the price of fuel, services and labor sometimes increase the cost of expedition arrangements significantly. Quark reserves the right to alter prices or introduce surcharges accordingly, even if payment has been received in full. All travelers are required to pay for their excursion and additional purchases in conjunction with their excursion in the same currency. The fare does not include tobacco, alcoholic or special beverages (bottled or tap), miscellaneous extras, personal needs or medical care. Such goods and services, if available for purchase aboard the vessel/camp, are at the traveler's own expense. Payment for all such goods and services including any charges for extra baggage must be made in cash or by traveler's checks in US dollars (or other currency acceptable to the carrier) upon demand by the carrier prior to the traveler's disembarkation.
